Tom and Lynn welcome guests to the Southernhay Hotel. All of our rooms are centrally heated and have tea/coffee making facilities, remote control TV's and hair dryers. We offer a 'hearty' breakfast with fruit juice, a choice of cereal and a full English cooked menu. A vegetarian option is also available. We are ideally situated at the head of Alum chine,(a wooded ravine) leading down to miles of safe, sandy beaches. Westbourne shopping centre is only a 3 minute walk away and offers a variety of bars, shops and restaurants. Bournemouth town centre is easily reached in minutes by car, or by the frequent bus service that goes past the hotel. It is a perfect base from which to explore the area's main tourist attractions such as: Poole Harbour, New Forest, Lulworth Cove and Castle, Swanage and boat trips from Poole and Bournemouth.
