It is located a mile of the coast, and is within easy reach of the beaches at Osmington Mills and Ringstead, as well as having the facility for private parking and access to a private beach at Redcliff Point. The cottage is in an ideal location for the South West Coast path, with walks to Lulworth and the Purbecks, and is a short drive to Weymouth with its harbour, beach, shops and nightlife. There are plenty of attractions in the surrounding area including Weymouth Sealife Centre, Abbotsbury sub-tropical gardens, Monkeyworld, Hardy's Cottage and Tyneham Village.
